I am told that Kanninen in Japanese could be:

auspicious moral thought: 嘉仁念

I figure now that I work at Sony I should know these things :)

  2. Ah ok the above are Kanji. In Katakana my official name would be:

    マット・カニネン (Matto Kaninen) or maybe マッシュー・カンニネン (Masshuu Kan ninen).

  3. I don't really like Matto, even if that's the official Japanese for Matt. I am used to answering to Mateo:

    Mateo in katakana is マテオ
